Soul Retrieval – The old ones attributed soul loss to energy dispersal occurring by the soul being frightened or being stolen. In contemporary terms this translates into trauma and feelings of disconnectedness. It is that part of our vital essence is missing to us. This practice retrieves the loss (often holding the story within) and returns it by blowing the now found essences back into the body. This work, on the part of the practitioner, is done in its ancient form. Rattles, feathers, and journey work are used.
